Our Lamp Series

Our lighting collections are designed for diversity and variety. We aim for our lights to fit into any home, regardless of the preferred furnishing style. That's why the subtle difference in each of our lamp series lies in the detail, for example

  • in the material,
  • in the shape,
  • colour,
  • the lampshade,
  • the number of bulbs or
  • the diameter of the lamp

This is how we ensure that our carefully manufactured products adapt to every preference and fit seamlessly into any environment.

Lighting FAQ

In order to make your new favourite light shine, it is of course important to choose the right light source. We show you what you need to consider:

You can find out whether the light sources are included on the product detail page of your selected lights. If the light source has to be purchased separately, this has the advantage that you can customise the selection of lamps and choose the bulb shape according to your wishes.

When buying a suitable light source, make sure that the socket of the light and the base of the lamp are compatible.

The most common base types that we sell include E27 and E14 bulbs, but there are also special sockets for certain luminaire models. The labelling on the product provides information on which socket the lights have and which light source is suitable for it.

The light colour plays a decisive role in the choice of light source for the desired lighting. This is measured and specified in Kelvin (K). A distinction is made between

  • warm white light (approx. 2700 Kelvin): This creates a cosy, relaxing atmosphere in the bedroom,
  • neutral white lighting (3,300 to 5,300 Kelvin) is often used where activities take place, e.g. in the living room, kitchen, bathroom or hobby room, while
  • daylight white light (over 5,300 Kelvin) is considered to promote concentration and provides the ideal lighting for workplaces.

The light colour must be distinguished from the brightness of a light source. This is specified in lumens (lm). The value varies depending on the room size and lighting purpose. Here is our recommendation:

  • Kitchen: approx. 280 (lm/m2)
  • Bathroom: approx. 280 (lm/m2)
  • Living room: approx. 140 (lm/m2)
  • Bedroom: approx. 140 (lm/m2)
  • Children's room: approx. 140 (lm/m2)
  • Study: approx. 280 (lm/m2)
  • Hallway: approx. 140 (lm/m2)

No, not every lamp and light bulb is dimmable. It is therefore important to pay attention to the corresponding labelling on the light source. Lamps that can be dimmed in stages are labelled as such on the packaging. Smart home bulbs are also suitable if no dimmer is available for the lighting but is desired. The brightness and light colour of smart lamps can be easily controlled and adjusted using a remote control or App.
